The biobank operates out of the Pathology Department at Otago University, with generous in-kind support from both the Department and the University. The Department and University provide generous in-kind support. We’ve also been supported by a number of other organisations since we began:

Our principal sponsor was AgResearch, New Zealand’s largest Crown Research Institute. We received grants from them to support the early development of our biobank from 2006 to 2010.

From 2008 – 2011, NZIRDR received sponsorship from Beltas, a New Zealand company providing clinical trials management here in New Zealand and overseas to help with our development.

Funding support for specific projects and equipment has been generously given by the Southern Trust and the Deane Endowment Trust, in addition to finance and in-kind donations from NZORD.
