The biobank operates out of the Pathology Department at Otago University, with generous in-kind support from both the Department and the University.

Our principal sponsor is AgResearch, New Zealand’s largest Crown Research Institute. We receive an annual grant from them to support the development of our biobank.

In 2008 NZIRDR signed a sponsorship agreement with Beltas, a New Zealand company providing clinical trials management here in New Zealand and overseas.

Funding support for specific projects and equipment has been generously given by the Southern Trust and the Deane Endowment Trust, in addition to cash and in-kind donations from NZORD.
